AQTIA Inc. (President and CEO Yukio Kitano, Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has changed its name from Altitude Incubation Inc. to AQTIA Inc., effective April 1, 2020.
■History of the company’s names
In December of 2017, the company was established as a subsidiary of Altitude Inc. (President: Yusuke Imaoka, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as “Altitude”) to provide the necessary capabilities for the formation and realization of new businesses and to support planning, development and operation related to new business launches with one-stop support.
As our business has expanded, we have had more opportunities to be more specifically involved in the development of new businesses/services and the expansion of our existing business, and there has been a strong demand for us to provide even more customer-focused services (from planning and development to service operation and maintenance).
Against this backdrop, as an independent company, rather than a subsidiary of a consulting firm, the Company’s representative director conducted a management buyout (MBO) in January 2019 with the aim of further growing and expanding the business through increased flexibility and speed, we are pleased to announce that we have become a fully independent company through the purchase of all of our shares held by our parent company Altitude and the president of Altitude.
We have changed our name to reflect our desire to be closer to our clients and to provide high-quality support for the creation of new businesses and services for the expansion of their existing business.
